Pakistan Vows Strong Action After Terrorist Attack Kills Soldiers
Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to take decisive action against terrorism in the wake of a deadly attack that claimed the lives of seven soldiers in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The soldiers were targeted by terrorists while their convoy was en route to Kachi Qamar, Sarband Post in Lakki Marwat district.
The assailants detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) before opening fire on the convoy, resulting in tragic casualties, including a Captain. Sharif expressed profound sadness over the loss of lives and emphasized the nation’s commitment to eradicating terrorism. Lakki Marwat has been identified as a stronghold of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), highlighting the persistent threat of militant groups in the region.
