AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi appealed to the electorate to remember a viral video purportedly showing BJP candidate Kompella Madhavi Latha pretending to shoot an arrow near a place of worship. Speaking at his party’s Lok Sabha constituency campaign, Owaisi stressed the importance of increasing polling percentages and urged voters to consider the implications of the controversial video.
He claimed that the act was aimed at disrupting the peace and tranquillity of Hyderabad, intending to spark communal tensions. Owaisi urged voters to prevent the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act, which he believes would exacerbate the situation. AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi echoed his brother’s sentiments, emphasizing the need for high voter turnout to ensure the victory of their party.
