Yuri Alemao, the leader of the opposition in the Goa Assembly, has called on Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to effectively implement the ‘Goa Cultural Policy 2007’ and the ‘Goa Sports Policy 2009.’ Alemao emphasized that these policies, initiated by the Congress, aim to encourage local talent in arts, culture, and sports, providing provisions such as grace marks for talented students and job reservations for artists and sportspersons.
He urged the government to fulfill its commitment, citing recent announcements related to job reservations for sportspersons. Alemao has been consistently pushing for the implementation of these policies, stressing the importance of supporting and recognizing talent in the state.
