No Increase in Entry Fee at Tiruchendur Temple, Clarifies Minister

Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE), P.K. Sekarbabu, clarified that the entry ticket rates at the Tiruchendur Subramanya Swamy temple have not been increased since 2018.

Contrary to a video circulating on social media claiming a hike, the Minister stated that the rates for free darshan and special darshan at ₹100 remain unchanged. The only modification is a ₹200 increase for special tickets priced at ₹800, implemented after due public consultation. The clarification comes amidst concerns raised by devotees after the video suggested a recent fee hike, providing clarity on the situation at the popular temple.
