NIA Raids Houses in Chennai City in Connection with Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe Blast
National Investigative Agency (NIA) officials conducted raids in Muthialpet, Royapettah, and Washermenpet areas of Chennai city, seizing three mobile phones from individuals suspected to be linked to the blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru.
The raids, lasting over four hours, targeted residences of Abuthahir, Liaqat Ali, and Rahim, with all three individuals summoned to appear before the NIA office in Bengaluru for further questioning. Additionally, H. Abdul Rahim’s residence in Otteri was inspected later in the evening, with Rahim issued summons to appear before the NIA on April 1 in connection with the same blast incident.
