Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar presided over the swearing-in ceremony of 12 newly elected members of the Upper House at Parliament House. The oath-taking ceremony, witnessed by Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh and Secretary General P.K. Mody, marked the formal induction of the new members into the Rajya Sabha. Among those administered the oath were prominent individuals such as Dharmshila Gupta, Manoj Kumar Jha, and Sanjay Yadav. With the retirement of 54 Rajya Sabha members on April 2 and 3, the induction of the new members contributes to the ongoing evolution of the Upper House’s composition.
