New Ministers Take Charge in Andhra Pradesh, Prioritize Key Development and Welfare Initiatives

Ahead of the Assembly session, eight newly elected MLAs assumed ministerial roles in Andhra Pradesh, marking a significant political shift. Water Resources Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu announced a forthcoming White Paper on the Polavaram project and pledged to prioritize irrigation development. Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy focused on increasing priests’ salaries and temple land protection.

Industries Minister T.G. Bharat emphasized industrial development akin to Gujarat, while Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad aimed for transparency and blockchain-secured records. Other ministers, including Kondapalli Srinivas, Kandula Durgesh, S. Savitha, and Vasamsetti Subhash, initiated plans for MSME promotion, tourism enhancement, skill development for weavers, and labor welfare improvements, respectively, reflecting a diverse and ambitious agenda for the state’s progress.
