New Leadership Elected for Supreme Court Advocate-on-Record Association

Advocate Vipin Nair has been elected as the new president of the Supreme Court Advocate-on-Record Association (SCAORA) in the elections held on April 29. With a history of involvement in significant public interest litigations, including the case against the National Judicial Appointments Commission (NJAC), Mr. Nair brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Advocate Amit Sharma, representing the Election Commission of India in the Supreme Court, has been elected vice president. Additionally, Advocates Nikhil Jain and Aljo Joseph have been elected as secretary and treasurer, respectively. The new leadership aims to continue promoting professional competence, integrity, and ethical practices within the legal community while also engaging in advocacy for the improvement of law and justice administration.
