New Cardio-Obstetrics Unit at RGGGH Enhances Care for Pregnant Women
The Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH) has inaugurated a cardio-obstetrics unit, equipped with an ECHOcardiogram machine funded by Infosys’ CSR contribution.
This specialized unit will streamline cardiac care for pregnant women, reducing wait times and facilitating timely treatment. Referrals from the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Government Kasturba Gandhi Hospital will now receive prioritized and efficient cardiac management at RGGGH. Dean E. Theranirajan emphasized the benefits of dedicated care and improved follow-up for expectant mothers with cardiac conditions.
