Negligence Leads to Unregistered Missing Children Cases in Moradabad
In a shocking revelation, it has been discovered that nearly 32 girls, including 11 children aged four months to five years, have gone missing in the past 16 years in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The reason for their disappearance is the failure of the police to register their cases, leaving the families in distress. These cases have come to light as the relatives of the missing girls continue to visit police stations in search of their loved ones to no avail.
Some of these cases involve thefts from hospitals, railway stations, and roadway bus stands, which have become hotspots for child kidnappings. Despite CCTV footage and evidence, the police have not been able to trace the missing children, leading to growing concerns among the public.
While investigations are reportedly underway in most cases, this revelation has highlighted the need for better monitoring and action on missing persons cases in the region.
