Narendra Modi’s Spiritual Retreat at Vivekananda Rock Memorial

Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a 45-hour-long meditation session at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanniyakumari district, following special prayers at the Sri Bhagavathi Amman Temple. Arriving by helicopter, Mr. Modi was greeted with traditional offerings before boarding the refurbished ferry named ‘Vivekananda’ to reach the rock memorial.

Accompanied by security personnel, he entered the meditation hall and commenced his session, expected to last until June 1 evening. Dr. S.R. Patani, a former Gujarat Public Service Commission member, noted the symbolic significance of Mr. Modi’s meditation, drawing parallels with Swami Vivekananda’s vision for a renewed India.
