Andhra Pradesh”s Leader of Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday slammed Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for a meagre allocation of Rs 500 crore for development of capital city Amaravati in the state budget for 2019-20.
Reacting to the budget presented in Assembly on Friday, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief wondered what Jagan Reddy will build with this allocation for capital city and Rs 250 crore for the Kadapa steel plant.
Naidu, whose government had embarked on the development of Amaravati in 2016 and launched various works as part of his vision to build it as one of the best cities in the world, came down heavily on the maiden budget of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government.
