N. Chandrababu Naidu will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 12, with the ceremony to be held near the Kesarapalle IT park. The event will see attendance from PM-elect Narendra Modi, senior NDA leaders, and several Chief Ministers.
The TDP-led NDA secured a commanding victory in the state elections, winning 164 out of 175 Assembly constituencies. The venue was changed from Mangalagiri to Kesarapalle for security reasons. Naidu’s cabinet formation will consider alliance obligations, previous ministers, seniority, and socio-regional balance.
