N. Chandrababu Naidu Expresses Concerns About Threats to His Life in Prison
Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, currently in judicial remand at Rajahmundry Central Prison in a Skill Development Corporation case, has raised concerns about threats to his life. In a letter to the special judge of the ACB Court in Vijayawada, Naidu pointed out several alarming incidents occurring in and around the jail that could jeopardize his safety, despite being a Z+ category security protectee.
He reported that drones were flown over the prison with the intention of capturing his movements and family members’ images, calling it a sinister design. Additionally, Naidu highlighted the presence of prisoners with NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) offenses in the same facility, posing a security risk.
He also noted that unauthorized photographs and videos of his entry into the prison were circulated on social media, potentially compromising his security. Naidu emphasized the need for enhanced security measures and requested the judge’s intervention to ensure his safety.
