MRTS construction of Velachery-St. Thomas Mount stretch work will be ended in July
The construction of the Velachery-St. Thomas Mount MRTS stretch is nearing completion and is expected to be finished by the end of July. However, the full commissioning of the MRTS Phase 2 Extension Project, which includes the Metro Rail Phase 2 Project, will take place at the end of this year. The track for the Metro Rail Phase 2 Project, which passes through the Adambakkam railway station, is yet to be completed.
Once the entire project is finished, it will provide enhanced connectivity and transportation options for commuters in the area. The completion of this project is eagerly awaited by the public. The authorities are working diligently to ensure the timely completion of the remaining portion of the track. The upcoming MRTS stretch will contribute to the overall development of the transportation infrastructure in the region.
