Mother Appeals for Son’s Protection Amidst Viral Video Controversy

In a heartfelt plea to the Pune police, the mother of the 17-year-old involved in the fatal Porsche car crash has urged authorities to safeguard her son’s well-being. She vehemently denied the authenticity of a viral video purportedly featuring her son boasting about evading consequences for the accident. Breaking down in her video message, she emphasized that the circulated footage was fabricated and urged for her son’s protection amidst the escalating controversy.

Pune police clarified that the rap video in question was not linked to the teenager and was the work of a social media influencer. Amidst public outrage over bail granted to the teen, the Juvenile Justice Board has subsequently remanded him to observation until June 5, with his father also facing arrest in connection with the case.
