MLA and Supporters Face Charges for Election Day Violence

Macherla MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and 28 supporters have been charged with attacking Circle Inspector Narayana Swamy during polling on May 13.

Accusations include setting a vehicle on fire and damaging a political party office. The CI, injured in the confrontation, is on medical leave. Charges filed under IPC Sections 307 and 332 were based on video evidence and victim statements.
