Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK leader MK Stalin has strongly criticized the AIADMK, saying the party surrendered to the BJP after facing pressure from central government agencies. He made this statement while speaking at a public meeting, where he accused the AIADMK of giving up its independence to protect its leaders.
According to Stalin, central agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Income Tax Department carried out raids on AIADMK leaders in the past. He claimed that after these raids, the AIADMK leadership became afraid and decided to support the BJP, instead of standing up for the people of Tamil Nadu.
Stalin said that the AIADMK’s alliance with the BJP does not serve the interests of the state. He accused the party of putting its own safety and power above the welfare of the people. He also said that the AIADMK once called itself a party that followed the ideals of former leaders like M.G. Ramachandran and J. Jayalalithaa, but now it follows the orders of the BJP.
The DMK chief also urged people to remember how the AIADMK acted during difficult times. He asked voters to choose parties that fight for Tamil Nadu’s rights, not those that give in under pressure. He said the people deserve leaders who stand strong and speak out against injustice, even when faced with challenges.
This statement comes ahead of the upcoming elections, where both DMK and AIADMK are preparing to face off. Stalin’s remarks are part of a larger political battle, with each side trying to win the trust of the public.
MK Stalin’s comments have sparked strong reactions from both AIADMK leaders and BJP supporters. However, he continues to stand by his words and says he will keep speaking out for the truth.
This latest political exchange highlights the growing tension between Tamil Nadu’s major parties and their national alliances as elections draw near.
