Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Ponnam Prabhakar have vehemently criticized former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for resorting to abusive language and deflecting attention from the Kaleshwaram fiasco amid Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s (BRS) declining popularity. They argue that KCR’s derogatory remarks reflect his frustration over the party’s diminishing influence and inability to address critical issues like water management.
The Ministers pointedly question KCR’s accountability for the state’s water woes, highlighting his silence on crucial matters such as illegal water extraction and infrastructure damage. They accuse KCR of neglecting farmers’ interests and mismanaging public resources, asserting that his governance legacy is marred by corruption scandals and failed welfare schemes. Refuting KCR’s claims of success in initiatives like Mission Kakatiya, they contend that the state’s water bodies remain dry, indicating systemic corruption and incompetence within the BRS government.
