MIM Announces Candidate for Rajendranagar Assembly Constituency
The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) has revealed its candidate for the Rajendranagar Assembly constituency in Greater Hyderabad. Belli Ravi Yadav, a former MIM corporator from Langar Houz division, will represent the party in the upcoming elections. MIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi made the announcement during a public meeting, emphasizing Yadav’s 22 years of active involvement with the party.
The Rajendranagar Assembly constituency is set for a multi-cornered contest, with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) fielding its sitting MLA, T. Prakash Goud. Other significant candidates include Congress candidate K. Narendar and BJP’s T. Srinivas Reddy. The constituency has witnessed a history of changing political affiliations, and MIM’s expansion efforts into non-Muslim-majority areas outside the old city of Hyderabad continue.
