Mayawati Pays Tribute to Ambedkar, Urges Dalit Unity to Achieve the ‘Master Key to Power’
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary and asked Dalits across the country to come together to gain true political power. She said that unity among Dalits is the only way to get what she called the “master key to power.”
Mayawati visited a statue of Dr. Ambedkar and offered flowers as a mark of respect. She remembered his efforts to fight for social justice, equality, and the rights of the weaker sections of society. She also reminded people that Dr. Ambedkar played a major role in writing India’s Constitution.
While speaking to the media, Mayawati said, “Dr. Ambedkar gave us the right to vote and helped us get legal rights, but our community still struggles. We can bring real change only if we stay united and support each other. If we want the master key to power, we must not divide our votes.”
She explained that many political parties take Dalit votes but do not work for Dalit rights. She urged people not to fall for false promises and instead support parties that truly fight for their dignity and development.
Mayawati also talked about her party’s mission. She said that the BSP continues to follow Dr. Ambedkar’s path and works to uplift the poor, Dalits, and other backward sections of society. She asked the younger generation to study hard, know their rights, and take part in politics.
People across India celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti on this day. They held events, visited statues, and shared his quotes and teachings. Many leaders, including the President and Prime Minister, also paid tribute to Ambedkar and praised his work for equality and justice.
Mayawati’s message clearly asked Dalits to unite and use their political strength wisely. She believes that with unity, they can bring real change and control the direction of the country’s politics.
