Mayawati Criticizes SP’s PDA Strategy, Accuses Party of Using Dalits for Political Gain

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati strongly attacked the Samajwadi Party (SP) for its PDA (Pichhda, Dalit, and Alpsankhyak) politics. She accused the party of misusing Dalits only to gain political power. While speaking to reporters, Mayawati said that the SP leaders do not care about the real problems of Dalits. Instead, they use the community as a tool to win elections.

She claimed that the SP only remembers Dalits during election time. “They don’t fight for Dalit rights or justice in real life. They only want votes,” she said. Mayawati also warned Dalit voters to stay alert and not fall for what she called fake promises and tricks.

Mayawati said her party, the BSP, always worked to uplift Dalits and backward communities with honesty. She pointed out that during her time as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, her government opened schools, created jobs, and improved safety for Dalits and other poor people. She asked people to compare that with what the SP did when they were in power.

She also accused the SP of spreading confusion by talking about PDA politics. According to her, the SP only uses catchy slogans but doesn’t take real action to help the backward, Dalit, or minority communities. She said that the PDA slogan is just another way for the SP to hide its failure to bring real change.

Mayawati asked people to vote based on past work and not on promises. “We must vote for the party that truly worked for us and stood with us during tough times,” she said. She also added that the BSP stands for social justice, equality, and development for all.

With elections coming closer, Mayawati’s strong words clearly show that the political fight between the BSP and SP is heating up. Both parties are trying to win the trust of Dalit voters, but Mayawati wants to remind people of her party’s long history of working for their welfare.
