Man Slits Own Throat in Public in Karnataka’s Kolar District

In a tragic incident in Karnataka’s Kolar district, a 35-year-old man, identified as Rahmat Ulla Baig, slit his own throat in full view of the public at the crowded ETCM Circle. Despite the quick response of bystanders who rushed him to a hospital, Rahmat was declared dead on arrival.

The police have registered a case in the matter and initiated an investigation. Rahmat, who earned a living by repairing gas stoves, was reportedly suffering from depression, according to the authorities. The deceased’s family is yet to provide a statement regarding the incident.
