Man Kills Mother with Boulder in Telangana; Mental State Questioned

In a horrifying incident in Telangana’s Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, a man, identified as Raji Reddy, allegedly killed his mother, Haema (70), by striking her with a boulder while she slept. The gruesome event unfolded in Tirumalagiri village, Regonda Mandal, on Wednesday night. Another woman attempting to intervene was also attacked and sustained injuries, requiring hospitalization.

Due to her critical condition, she was later shifted to Hyderabad for further treatment. The assailant fled the scene but was apprehended by villagers in a neighboring village under suspicion of being a thief. Locals reported concerns about the man’s unsound mental condition, describing his behavior as erratic and suggestive of psychological distress.
