A 33-year-old man, identified as Gopinath from Pudupet, ended his life allegedly due to abusive messages from an online loan app operator. Gopinath, a political functionary, had borrowed ₹50,000 through the app and repaid it.
However, he continued to receive messages demanding payment, leading to disputes within his family. Unable to cope with the harassment, he took his own life.
