Man Booked for Creating Objectionable Posters of Karnataka Chief Minister on Social Media
The Karnataka police have filed a case against a man named Srinivasamurthy, a resident of Tumakuru, for allegedly creating and circulating objectionable posters of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on social media. The case was registered following a complaint by Congress Spokesperson Surya Mukundaraj, who demanded action against the accused.
The objectionable posters used a derogatory tagline and portrayed CM Siddaramaiah’s face on the body of Mahishasura, a demon king in Hindu mythology. In a separate case, a complaint has also been filed against an individual named Somana Gouda for sharing humiliating pictures of the Chief Minister on a WhatsApp group called ‘Jai Karnataka.’
