Man Arrested at Hyderabad Airport for Smuggling Gold in Mixer Motor

Customs officials at Hyderabad’s airport have apprehended an individual for allegedly attempting to smuggle 819 grams of gold valued at Rs 49.79 lakhs. The gold was concealed within a mixer motor. The suspect, who arrived in Hyderabad from Dubai on an IndiGo flight, was singled out based on profiling.

Upon inspecting his luggage, customs authorities discovered the hidden gold, leading to his arrest under section 104 of the Customs Act. Further investigations into the case are ongoing.
