Man Allegedly Killed by Wife and Her Kin Over Illicit Relationship in Goa
A man was fatally attacked in Bicholim, Goa, reportedly by his wife and her accomplice, who were involved in an illicit relationship, according to the Goa police. The victim, identified as Ramesh Poshalappa Siddagoli (39), a laborer from Karnataka, was found dead with multiple stab wounds under the New Bridge at Bicholim.
The accused have been identified as Sangita Ramesh Siddagoli (29) and Ramu Shankar Gawali (50), both hailing from Maharashtra. The police swiftly arrested the accused duo within eight hours of the crime. Superintendent of Police Nidhin Valsan stated that an argument had erupted between the victim and the accused, allegedly fueled by alcohol and centered on Sangita’s relationship with Gawali.
The police further revealed that the accused attacked the victim with a sharp-edged weapon, resulting in his death. The deceased worked as a scrap collector and lived roadside with his wife, while Gawali was involved with the victim’s wife and reportedly visited them frequently.
