Major Fire in Mumbai’s Goregaon Kills 7, Injures 51 in Residential Building Parking Lot Blaze

A significant fire broke out in the parking lot of a suburban high-rise building in Goregaon, Mumbai, resulting in the tragic loss of at least seven lives, including two minors, and leaving 51 others injured.

The fire began around 3 a.m. in the parking area and quickly spread to vehicles, electrical systems, and residential floors above, leading to a massive emergency response by Mumbai Police and the Fire Brigade. Firefighters managed to rescue 30 residents from the building, and the blaze was eventually extinguished around 6.55 a.m.
