Macron Condemns Israeli Actions in Gaza
French President Emmanuel Macron has conveyed a stern warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, asserting that any forced population transfer from the southern Gaza city of Rafah would constitute a war crime. Macron also criticized Israel’s announcement of seizing 800 hectares of land in the occupied West Bank for new settlements, labeling it as deeply concerning.
Additionally, Macron reiterated his opposition to an Israeli military operation in Rafah, emphasizing the need for an immediate and lasting ceasefire in the region. He underscored the importance of opening all crossing points into Gaza to alleviate the humanitarian crisis.
