Low-intensity earthquake hits Kashmir
A low-intensity earthquake measuring three on the Richter scale hit the Kashmir Valley on Friday, with no reports of casualties or damage.
The earthquake occurred at 8.21 a.m. at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter was in the Jammu and Kashmir region, an official of the disaster management department said.
“The coordinates of the tremor were latitude 34.1 degrees north and longitude 74.8 degrees east.”
