Kumaraswamy Demands CBI Probe in Prajwal Revanna Sexual Assault Case

Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has accused the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Prajwal Revanna sexual assault case of working at the behest of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. He demanded that the investigation be handed over to the CBI for impartiality.

Terming D.K. Shivakumar as the “key conspirator” in the distribution of pen drives containing explicit sexual content, Kumaraswamy stated that the SIT was behaving like agents of the ruling government. He also questioned why Rahul Gandhi had not been issued a notice regarding his claim of 400 women victims. Kumaraswamy supported the demand for a judicial inquiry made by the BJP, accusing the Congress of prioritizing publicity over justice.
