A First Class Judicial Magistrate in Kerala, Lenin Das, has been transferred from Tirur, Malappuram district, following complaints from the Kerala High Court Advocates’ Association (KHCAA).
Lawyers raised concerns about Das’s alleged use of derogatory language and misconduct towards them. In response to the complaints, the KHCAA wrote to the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court, A.J. Desai, seeking action. Following the request, Das has been transferred to Kannur, with orders to assume the new post within the next four days.
