The Kerala High Court has directed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to conduct a further investigation into the accidental death of popular violinist Balabhaskar. The order came in response to a petition filed by Balabhaskar’s father, K. C. Unni, who alleged that the CBI’s initial investigation was not thorough and sought the court’s intervention.
The court has asked the CBI to complete the further investigation and submit its report within three months. Balabhaskar died in a car accident in 2018, and the CBI’s previous report concluded it was an accidental death caused by rash driving. However, Unni believes there may be more to the case and seeks the truth about his son’s death.
