Kerala CM Emphasizes Modernization and Self-Introspection in Science Education
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the state-level ‘Praveshanolsavam,’ urging teachers to self-reflect on the scarcity of global talents in science subjects within the state. Addressing the rapid advancements in fields like astrophysics, quantum physics, and nanophysics, Vijayan stressed the importance of teachers staying updated and fostering scientific temper among students.
Highlighting Kerala’s top ranking in the NITI Aayog’s school education quality index, he praised the government’s efforts in bridging the digital divide and enhancing public education. The event, presided over by Minister V. Sivankutty, saw students receiving school supplies and celebrating the new academic year with enthusiasm.
