Karnataka Government set to drop lesson about RSS founder

Congress led the Karnataka government to remove the lesson about RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar for the students this academic year.
It is also been decided to direct the teachers not to teach certain lessons which is included in the time of the BJP government.
The lessons on the right winger Chakravarthy Sulibele and scholar Bannanje Govindacharya will also be dropped.
Since the books have been published the government would not order republication.
Senior BJP spokesperson said, “The changes to the textbooks by the BJP government were made as per the guideline of the National Curriculum Forum(NCF)”.
The changes provoke the emotions of large sections of people who love the history of India, he said.
