Kalakshetra Inquiry Panel Finds Hari Padman Guilty, Report Submits
An independent inquiry committee established to investigate complaints against faculty at the Kalakshetra Foundation has indicated the guilt of assistant professor Hari Padman, who has been suspended. The committee, headed by former Punjab and Haryana High Court judge K. Kannan and including former Tamil Nadu DGP Letika Saran and medical professional Shobha Varthaman, submitted its report with annexures.
The committee has recommended that the chairman keep the report confidential due to sensitive information that could invade individuals’ privacy. The report will be disclosed to Hari Padman for him to respond to the findings and the suggested major punishment. The committee gathered information from students, staff, and alumni to compile the report.
