K. Chandrasekhar Rao Recuperates After Successful Hip Replacement Surgery
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) supremo and former Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, underwent a successful hip replacement surgery at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad, following a late-night fall at his farmhouse. The surgery, involving a left total hip replacement, was conducted by a team of senior orthopedic surgeons and medical professionals.
The health bulletin reported that KCR tolerated the procedure well and remained stable throughout. Post-surgery, he was moved to a recovery room and is currently receiving routine post-operative care, including physiotherapy, IV fluids, antibiotics, and pain medication. Plans for ambulation and nutrition will be determined based on assessments in the coming days.
Present at the hospital were KCR’s son, K. T. Rama Rao, daughter K. Kavitha, nephew T. Harish Rao, family members, and BRS leaders. The former Chief Minister’s hospitalization prompted well-wishes from leaders across the political spectrum, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
