Jammu & Kashmir DGP Promises Justice in Slain Cop’s Case

Jammu & Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) R. R. Swain made a significant announcement regarding the killing of a police officer in the Tangmarg area earlier this week. During his visit to the family of the slain head constable, the DGP assured them that the culprits behind this tragic incident would not escape justice. Speaking to the press during his visit, he emphasized the commitment to apprehending those responsible, stating, “We won’t spare anyone who is involved in this murder.”

He mourned the loss, highlighting the slain officer’s dedication and the impact on the police ‘Parvaar’ (family). DGP Swain also drew attention to the role of external forces in disrupting peace in the region, stating that the support from across the border was not directed towards building essential infrastructure but was meant to aid terrorism. He emphasized the need for a unified effort to thwart such plans and promised a strong stance against infiltrations.
