Israeli Bombardment in Khan Younis: 26 Palestinians, Mostly Children, Killed
At least 26 Palestinians, mostly children, were killed in Khan Younis city in south Gaza due to an Israeli bombardment, according to Palestinian state media. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the launch of operations in south Gaza, citing intelligence reports of top Hamas leaders hiding in the region. The IDF admitted the displacement of around eight lakh people from north Gaza to southern Gaza, leading to challenges for the UN Relief Welfare Agency (UNRWA) in managing the influx.
