During a meeting with Burkina Faso’s Foreign Minister Olivia Rouamba in Tehran, President Raisi emphasized the strong relations between Iran and many African nations following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, highlighting African countries’ resilience against colonialism and terrorism.
Burkina Faso’s Foreign Minister Rouamba commended Iran’s resistance against the global hegemonic system, describing Iran as a friendly and brotherly state. She expressed Burkina Faso’s interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade ties, during her discussions with Iranian officials.
