IPL 2025: “We’re Still in the Fight,” Says Hussey on CSK’s Playoff Hopes

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batting coach Michael Hussey believes the team still has a chance to reach the playoffs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Despite facing tough losses this season, Hussey says the players haven’t given up. They remain focused and determined to win the remaining matches.

“We’re still hanging in there. The boys are training hard and staying positive. We believe we can still make it,” Hussey said after CSK’s recent match.

CSK has played several close games this season. Some results didn’t go their way, but the team continues to fight. Hussey praised the team’s attitude and said the players never stop pushing. He believes their strong mindset will help them bounce back in the next few matches.

“We just need to win our next couple of games. If we do that, we’ll stay in the race. The tournament is still open. Anything can happen,” Hussey added.

CSK fans also continue to support the team in large numbers. They fill the stadiums and cheer loudly, which lifts the players’ spirits. Hussey thanked the fans for their loyalty and energy.

“Our fans give us so much strength. We feel their support every game, whether we play at home or away,” he said.

With only a few league matches left, CSK must win most of them to qualify for the playoffs. Their experienced players like MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Ravindra Jadeja will play key roles in the upcoming games. Hussey believes their leadership and performance can guide the team to success.

“We trust our senior players. They know how to handle pressure and lead by example. If everyone plays their role, we can turn things around,” he said.

CSK will now focus on their next match and aim to grab two crucial points. If they keep up their strong effort, the team still has a solid shot at making the playoffs.
