Interim Bail Granted to Rabri Devi and Daughters in Railways Land-for-Job Case
Former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi and her daughters Misa Bharti, an RJD MP, and Hema Yadav have been granted interim bail by a Delhi court until February 28 in the Railways land-for-job case. The decision came after the Enforcement Directorate requested time to present arguments on their regular bail application.
Special Judge Vishal Gogne provided relief to the accused, who appeared in court in response to summons issued after the court took cognisance of the ED’s charge sheet. During the hearing, the court questioned the necessity for the accused’s custody, noting that they were not arrested during the ED’s investigation, prompting scrutiny of the agency’s actions in the case.
