In a concerted effort to alleviate traffic congestion along Hyderabad’s bustling IT corridor, a cluster meeting organized by the Cyberabad Commissionerate and the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) discussed several innovative strategies. These included staggered office timings to disperse rush hour traffic, the deployment of over 80 traffic marshals to manage traffic within IT campuses, and promoting carpooling initiatives to reduce vehicle emissions and promote sustainable commuting practices.
Additionally, discussions centered on implementing a centralized public transport system aimed at improving connectivity and reducing commuting times across the city’s IT hubs. These measures are part of a proactive approach to enhance traffic management and ensure efficient crisis response capabilities during emergencies within the IT corridor.
