Indra Sena Reddy Nallu Sworn In as Tripura’s 20th Governor
Former BJP leader from Telangana, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, has been sworn in as the 20th Governor of Tripura, succeeding Satyadeo Narain Arya. The oath of office was administered by Tripura High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh during a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan. Chief Minister Manik Saha, cabinet ministers, senior civil and security officials, and other dignitaries were present at the event.
Governor Reddy Nallu expressed his commitment to maintaining transparency and accountability in administration, as well as empowering the people and contributing to the state’s development. He has a political background, having served as a three-time MLA, floor leader of the BJP in the combined Andhra Pradesh Assembly, and President of the BJP in the combined state of Andhra Pradesh.
Reddy Nallu is the second BJP leader from Telangana to serve as a Governor, with Bandaru Dattatreya currently holding the position in Haryana.
