India-France Military Sub-Committee Discusses Defense Cooperation

The 21st edition of the India-France Military Sub-Committee (MSC) meeting took place on October 16-17 at the Air Force Station in New Delhi. During this high-level discussion, both countries deliberated on key initiatives within the framework of their existing bilateral defense cooperation mechanism, exploring ways to enhance their ongoing defense engagements.

Co-chaired by Air Vice Marshal Ashish Vohra from the Indian side and Major General Eric Peltier from the French side, the India-France MSC serves as a platform for advancing defense collaboration through regular strategic and operational-level dialogues between the HQ Integrated Defence Staff and the Joint Staff HQ of the French Armed Forces.

The meeting was characterized by a friendly and cordial atmosphere, with a focus on new initiatives within the existing defense cooperation framework and strengthening ongoing defense engagements.
