INDIA Bloc MPs Protest Alleged Misuse of Probe Agencies
Several MPs from the INDIA bloc, including leaders from Congress, TMC, and AAP, staged a protest at Parliament premises against what they claim is the government’s misuse of investigative agencies to target opposition figures. Led by Rahul Gandhi, the protest featured placards condemning the alleged suppression of dissent and misuse of agencies like the ED against political opponents.
AAP’s Raghav Chadha prominently displayed a poster depicting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal behind bars, symbolizing their grievances over what they perceive as politically motivated legal actions. The protest highlighted demands for the release of arrested ministers in West Bengal and a cessation of actions against leaders like Tejashwi Yadav and Hemant Soren, framing the issue as a united stand against authoritarian tactics targeting opposition voices.
