Income Tax Department Conducts Raids on DMK MP Jagatrakshakan’s Residence and 40 Locations in Tamil Nadu

The Income Tax (I-T) Department carried out raids at the residence of DMK MP Jagatrakshakan in Tamil Nadu, along with simultaneous raids at 40 other locations, including educational institutions and commercial establishments across the state.

These raids are reportedly related to allegations that top DMK leaders aided the G Square Real Estate Company, which experienced significant growth during the party’s rule. Earlier, the Madras High Court had quashed a case by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against Jagathrakshakan, a former union minister.
