In another incident, an Indian married woman reached Pakistan to meet her Facebook friend

Two women are making headlines for crossing borders to meet their Facebook friends. Seema Haidar from Pakistan reached India to meet her love, Rajasthan’s Anju Rafael, a married mother of two from Bhiwadi. Anju confirmed her arrival in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to meet her friend Nasrullah.

Her children were unaware of her whereabouts and are living with their father. Anju’s husband said they got married in 2007, and she originally hails from Gwalior. She had gotten her passport made in 2020 and told her husband she was going to Jaipur.

The police are investigating the case, and the Pakistan High Commission has sought information.
