IIA Launches National Architecture Design Competition for IPM Redesign

The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) has initiated ‘Oasis’, a prestigious national-level design competition aimed at reimagining the Institute of Palliative Medicine (IPM) in Kozhikode. Architects from across the country are invited to participate by submitting innovative design proposals that prioritize community, comfort, and connectivity on the IPM campus.

The competition, facilitated through an official website, aims to enhance the overall experience for patients, families, and caregivers. Winners of the competition, to be announced in May, will have the opportunity to contribute to the noble mission of palliative care through architectural innovation, with the selected design expected to transform a 12,000-sq.ft. area of the IPM campus.
